On April 2, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Tuyen Quang), the 37th national cycling race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup - Ton Dong A 2025 officially kicked off with the opening ceremony of 15 racing teams. The event attracted a large number of Tuyen Quang people and audiences nationwide.

This year's race has a special meaning as it aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Athletes are ready to compete, conquering the roads associated with the heroic history of the nation from Tan Trao - Tuyen Quang to the front of Thong Nhat Hall - Ho Chi Minh City.

Before setting off, the racing teams took time to revisit important historical sites of Tuyen Quang: Na Nua Hut - where Uncle Ho lived and led the revolution during difficult days; Tan Trao Communal House - the "capital" of the revolution, where our army and people once gathered to prepare for the August 1945 General Uprising; The Memorial Area of Revolutionary Ancestors - a place associated with many stages of the struggle for national liberation.

On the morning of April 3, the tournament will take place with the first stage of 46 km with 20 laps x 2.3 km around Tuyen Quang city.
