Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) also raised the price of 1-5 chi gold rings to 78.4-79.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 500 thousand VND/tael in both directions compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.
Similarly, Bao Tin Minh Chau also increased by 500,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to yesterday's closing price, listing the price of Thang Long Dragon gold rings at 78.58-79.68 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

If calculated from the beginning of the year until now, the price of gold rings has increased by about 17 million VND/tael. For SJC gold bars, businesses increased by 200,000 VND/tael, trading at 80 - 82 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
The profitability of plain gold rings this year is superior to that of SJC gold bars (8%), after the State Bank intervened in the policy on the monopoly of gold bars.
This morning, gold bars also recovered to the 82 million VND area, after decreasing by 200,000 VND per tael yesterday. SJC announced the buying and selling price of gold bars at 80 - 82 million VND, 1.6 - 2.3 million VND higher than plain rings. Domestic gold prices increased following the strong increase of precious metals in the international market. Currently, the world gold price is trading at the peak, nearly 2,600 USD per ounce.
