Gia Loc focuses on clearing violations of irrigation works

From the end of October 2023 to now, Gia Loc district has cleared 34 violations of irrigation works. Of which, 8 violations are managed by the district's Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise, including: 4 violations in Hoang Dieu commune, 3 violations in Hong Hung commune and 1 violation in Thong Nhat commune; 26 violations are managed by localities.

On October 13, 2023, Gia Loc District People's Committee issued a plan to handle and clear violations of the protection scope of irrigation works. The District People's Committee has detailed statistics of 326 cases of violations of irrigation works including: time, nature and level of violation; at the same time, assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and towns to establish working groups, propagate so that people understand and voluntarily comply with the law on protection of irrigation works, and gradually organize to clear violations.

In 2024, Gia Loc district plans to focus on handling and clearing violations of the protection of irrigation works. In February and March, we will focus on propaganda so that people understand and comply; organize households with violating works to sign a commitment to voluntarily dismantle and clear. From April, we will launch a campaign to clear violations in cases that do not voluntarily comply.
