At the end of the trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor on June 29, 2024 at 4:30 a.m. decreased to 3,588 - 4,011 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery period for September 2024 is 4,011 USD/ton (down 36 USD/ton); the delivery period for November 2024 is 3,850 USD/ton (down 15 USD/ton); the delivery period for January 2024 is 3,680 USD/ton (down 11 USD/ton) and the delivery period for March 2025 is 3,588 USD/ton (down 9 USD/ton).

The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee fluctuated on the morning of June 29, 2024. Specifically, the delivery period for July 2024 was 287.45 USD/ton (up 0.33%); the delivery period for September 2024 was 276.80 USD/ton (down 0.79%); the delivery period for December 2024 was 272.15 USD/ton (down 0.20%) and the delivery period for March 2025 was 270.65 USD/ton (up 0.13%).
Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
Arabica coffee on the ICE Futures US floor (New York floor) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil floor, it will be open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day), Vietnam time.
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:30 a.m. on June 29, 2024 as follows, according to www.giacaphe.com, domestic coffee prices today decreased slightly by 100 - 200 VND/kg, ranging from 118,800 - 119,900 VND/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 119,000 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 119,900 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai province (Chu Prong) is 119,900 VND, in Pleiku and La Grai the same price is 119,800 VND/kg; In Kon Tum province the price is 119,800 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province the coffee is purchased at the highest price of 119,900 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 118,800 VND/kg.
Coffee prices today (June 29) in Dak Lak province; in Cu M'gar district, coffee is purchased at about 119,800 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 119,700 VND/kg.
StoneX, a veteran US financial services firm, also forecast a global coffee surplus of just 2-3 million bags in 2024/25, lower than the US Department of Agriculture's previous forecast of 5.6 million bags.
According to Bloomberg: Brazil, the world's top coffee producer, is on track to harvest what appears to be a smaller-than-expected crop in a disappointing development for a global market already suffering from tight supplies and high prices.
Farmers are picking coffee beans that look smaller than usual after a period of heat and drought damaged their plants. While the extent of the impact is currently uncertain, the concern has prompted a downward revision of Arabica production estimates.
Arabica coffee futures are on track to rise for a fourth straight month and are up about 20% this year on supply concerns. Robusta prices are also set to rise more than 40% by 2024 as output in key grower Vietnam is hit by drought.
This month, Marex Group cut its outlook for Brazil’s coffee production to 44 million bags of arabica in the current 2024-25 crop year, down from its March estimate of 46.6 million.
