The opening ceremony of the Olympic Running Day - For the security of the Fatherland of the units under the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City Police in 2025 is part of a series of activities towards the 77th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Six Teachings to the People's Public Security Forces (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2025), the 79th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for all people to exercise (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and major events of the country in 2025; with the goal of promoting and improving the quality and movement of physical training and sports in the People's Public Security Forces to contribute to improving the physical fitness of officers and soldiers.

With the participation of 58 Public Security units, 7 accompanying enterprises and the Public Security Sports Association registered to participate (with nearly 2,000 leaders, officers, soldiers, contract workers, students of Public Security schools; nearly 50 relay teams), the Olympic Running Day - for National Security of the units under the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City Public Security in 2025 is a testament to the determination and vanguard spirit of the Public Security force in implementing Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Public Security force, contributing to firmly protecting national security, social order and safety, for the peaceful life and happiness of the people.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity to continue to discover and nurture excellent athletes, build a force of highly qualified CAND sports athletes, participate in major domestic and international tournaments, contributing to glorifying the image of CAND soldiers in the hearts of the people and international friends.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To respectfully thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Sports Department, and the Vietnam Olympic Committee for their attention and support for the physical training and sports activities of the People's Public Security Forces in the past time. Immediately after the opening ceremony, leaders, delegates and participants started running along the route of 1 lap around Thien Quang Lake (1.2 km). Individuals and teams participated in the relay race, competing on the route of 4 laps around the lake (about 4.8 km).
