This office is also the new headquarters of FPT in Japan (FPT Japan) with an area of 3,000m2 and enough space for more than 500 employees.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Van Khac, Deputy General Director of FPT Software and CEO of FPT Japan said: “FPT Japan’s goal is to continuously improve its technological capabilities, strengthen relationships with customers to further expand opportunities for implementing turnkey projects as well as opportunities for cooperation with Japanese enterprises. To achieve this goal, we identify human resources as our most important asset and this new office is a testament to our commitment to creating an ideal working environment for all employees.”
With 20 years of operation in the Japanese market, FPT is one of the largest foreign-invested technology companies in Japan in terms of human resources. FPT Japan currently has more than 3,500 employees working in 17 offices and development centers in Japan, along with nearly 15,000 global experts specializing in the Japanese market, providing digital services and solutions to more than 450 customers worldwide. FPT Japan aims to increase the number of employees working directly in Japan to 5,000 by the end of 2025 and achieve its first billion-dollar revenue by 2027.
FPT Japan is currently a member of the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren). Recently, FPT Japan, together with other Vietnamese IT enterprises in Japan, established the Vietnam - Japan Digital Transformation Association (VADX Japan).
VADX Japan is expected to become a strategic bridge, promoting cooperation and development between the two countries in the field of digital technology, while accelerating and improving the efficiency of the digital transformation process to contribute to the sustainable development of the economy and society.
Present in 30 countries and territories, FPT has been promoting digital transformation and applying new technologies with more than 1,000 global customers, including nearly 100 customers on the Fortune Global 500 list operating in many fields such as aerospace, energy, automobiles, retail, banking and finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. In 2023, the Group will surpass the milestone of 1 billion USD in IT service revenue from foreign markets, entering the group of billion-dollar IT enterprises globally.
