Sao Khue Awards 2025 presented to 198 outstanding digital platforms, services and solutions

NDO - The data recorded by Sao Khue this year shows that the 2024 revenue of the 198 Award-winning nominees will reach nearly 48,000 billion VND (equivalent to nearly 2 billion USD), accounting for nearly 20% of the revenue of the entire software and IT services industry in Vietnam in 2024.

On April 19, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) solemnly held the Sao Khue Award Ceremony 2025, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology .

With 198 outstanding digital products, services and solutions spanning 9 fields, Sao Khue 2025 has contributed to demonstrating the breakthrough of Vietnam's IT industry, accompanying the goal of bringing the digital economy to 20% of GDP by 2025.

The 22nd Sao Khue Award voting program was officially launched on December 27, 2024, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology. After nearly 3 months of receiving applications, Sao Khue 2025 marked a new record in scale, attracting more than 500 nominations from leading technology enterprises across the country.

Through 3 rigorous evaluation rounds, the National Final Selection Council chaired by Dr. Nguyen Quan, former Minister of Science and Technology, and 40 prestigious experts, selected 198 outstanding digital platforms, services, and solutions to award the Sao Khue Award 2025.

The awards include: 5 Outstanding digital transformation solutions for government, administration, and public sector; 19 outstanding nominations in the community and people category; 34 outstanding nominations promoting corporate governance; 11 outstanding digital transformation solutions in the economic-industrial sector; 29 outstanding digital solutions in the market-consumption sector; 26 outstanding technology infrastructure platforms; 11 innovative products; 42 new software and service products and 21 pioneering solutions in digital services.

From the award-winning products, the Council also selected outstanding nominees in each field group to conduct the Sao Khue 5-star rating, to recognize products and services that are outstanding in technology, economic efficiency and social impact. Notably, this year there were 25 nominees rated 5 stars - the year with the largest number of 5-star ratings in the history of the Sao Khue Awards to date.

In particular, based on the advanced criteria, the Council also voted for the Top 10 Sao Khue 2025 - the most prestigious category of the Award. This year, this highest category has only 9 products - services, pioneering in fields such as insurance/securities/investment, fintech, digital access, digital transformation services, data digitization, digital banking, smart devices, IT system management and education and training.

According to statistics, technology enterprises have directly contributed to the digital economy proportion of 18.3% of GDP in 2024 with a growth rate of 20%. In that general picture, the data recorded by Sao Khue this year shows that the revenue in 2024 of the 198 Award-winning nominees will reach nearly 48,000 billion VND (equivalent to nearly 2 billion USD), accounting for nearly 20% of the revenue of the entire software and IT services industry in Vietnam in 2024.

Moreover, these solutions are directly contributing to digital transformation, smartening business processes and administrative procedures, solving problems of the Government and the Administration in most key economic sectors. This not only brings convenience to domestic people and businesses but also serves the development of the international market.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA spoke.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA, affirmed: "Vietnamese technology enterprises do not only stop at the domestic market but also bring Vietnamese intelligence to the world."

According to the Chairman of VINASA, the AI, blockchain, and cloud computing solutions honored today have been included in major contracts in demanding markets such as Japan, Europe, and North America. These achievements not only contribute to economic growth but also affirm Vietnam's position as a digital service provider and innovation center in the region and globally.

"Resolution 57-NQ/TW is creating a huge driving force, the country is demanding stronger technological innovation efforts than ever before. I call on technology businesses to make more creative efforts, to connect more closely to be ready to solve the country's big problems," Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa emphasized.
