The nonprofit Americans for Responsible Innovation (ARI) is calling on Mr. Trump to appoint billionaire Elon Musk as a special White House advisor on AI in the next term.

On November 11, ARI - a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting technology fields, especially artificial intelligence (AI) - published a petition to President-elect Donald Trump.
In the petition, the group praised billionaire Musk's AI research, and said that the SpaceX founder has achieved a balance between promoting AI development while still ensuring information security.
“As AI moves forward, the United States must be a world leader in advancing AI safely and securely. No one has more resources to help the Trump administration position the United States as a leader in this field than billionaire Elon Musk,” said Satya Thallam, senior vice president of government affairs at ARI.
According to Mr. Satya Thallam, billionaire Elon Musk is a pioneer in AI technology, and always warns about the potential risks of this field.
