Coffee price forecast tomorrow 4/5/2025 market will decrease sharply.
According to experts, world coffee prices are facing many uncertainties due to information from the US government about imposing import taxes on coffee from major producing countries such as Brazil and Colombia. World coffee prices are under downward pressure due to the reciprocal taxes imposed by US President Donald Trump on April 2.
Meanwhile, the 46% tariff on exports from Vietnam is expected to disrupt the flow of Robusta coffee and exacerbate the supply shortage. Vietnam is the world's largest producer of Robusta coffee, so these decisions will have a huge impact on the market.
The domestic coffee market is showing signs of stability, however, fluctuations in the world market may affect domestic prices in the coming time. Experts say that domestic coffee prices will continue to fluctuate within a wide range due to the impact of weather and speculative sentiment.
After a series of previous hot sessions, profit-taking pressure from hedge funds and investors pushed coffee prices down sharply. This sentiment became more evident when the market worried that improved supply would curb price increases.
In addition, in the short term, coffee prices may still be under downward pressure if positive weather forecasts in Brazil continue to be reinforced.
However, Vietnam's export expectations are still bright as the export value in the first quarter of 2025 has reached 2.8 billion USD, and the whole year target could reach 8 billion USD if prices remain stable around 5,500 - 6,000 USD/ton.
