The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 64 on organizing a Film Series to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and celebrate Spring 2024.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Cinema to preside over and coordinate with the following units: Vietnam Cinema Association Film Studio, HDA Film Company Limited, Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Limited Liability Company, Vietnam Animation Film Studio Joint Stock Company, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Film Distribution and Screening Center, Cinema Center, Cultural - Cinema Center, Cultural - Arts Center, Cultural Centers of provinces and centrally-run cities to organize the film campaign.
The films selected for screening this time include the feature film Thau Chin in Siam produced by the Vietnam Cinema Association Film Studio, released in 2015. This is a film ordered by the State, telling the story of the time President Ho Chi Minh, using the alias Thau Chin, operated in Thailand from July 1928 to November 1929.
In addition, this film series also shows documentaries: Hanoi, Capital of Culture , produced by HDA Film Company Limited; Road to WTO , produced by Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Company Limited; animated films Dream Sky and Emperor Dinh Tien, produced by Vietnam Animation Studio Joint Stock Company.
The film screenings will take place from February 3 to 16, 2024 nationwide. In Hanoi, the films will be screened at the National Cinema Center, 87 Lang Ha.
