Talking to us, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of Joint Stock Company 22 (General Department of Logistics) said: Because dry food products are still quite new to consumers in the South, while the branch applies the traditional sales approach to customers, the source of customers who know about the company's products is limited. Faced with that situation, the company's leaders and commanders discussed, exchanged, and implemented many measures to promote sales efficiency, bringing the company's products to gradually dominate the market of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas. During that process, the branch's officers and employees were proactive, creative, researched, and successfully applied flexible sales methods, especially online sales and e-commerce transactions through social networking platforms, thanks to which the branch's revenue is increasingly higher.
In the conversation with us, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Dung mentioned a lot about the typical example of the branch, employee Nguyen Huu Manh, 31 years old, the youngest person here. Despite his youth and limited experience, with his dynamism and creativity, Nguyen Huu Manh is the one who has the initiative to apply the sales method through e-commerce, online transactions very effectively, in line with the current market trend.
Sharing his own experiences in promoting sales at the branch, Mr. Nguyen Huu Manh said: “Realizing the rapid development of e-commerce in current business operations, combined with contact with the unit's reality, I have been struggling and thinking of ways to post information about the company's military dry food products on e-commerce sites. With the guidance of the company's leaders and commanders and the support of the branch director, I have promoted sales on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, and created my own tiktok channel "Anh luong kho" with the aim of spreading the dry food products of Joint Stock Company 22 on e-commerce platforms so that more people are interested in and know about the products.

In addition, I often use live streaming methods, enthusiastically consulting customers with the motto "selling, selling trust to customers". This sales method is very quick and convenient, customers also know more and more about the products. Not only selling the company's products, I constantly expand the distribution network, promote the image with a variety of items and other products of the Military logistics enterprise. Along with implementing new sales methods, the branch continues to maintain traditional sales methods, maintaining good relationships with long-term customers. After a short time, I realized that this method has brought clear results, sales are increasing day by day".
We learned that since applying the new sales method, the revenue of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch has had remarkable growth, always higher each month than the previous month. Up to now, the branch's sales revenue has exceeded 300% compared to the time of 2021. As of August 2023, the branch's sales revenue has reached more than 3.13 billion VND, an increase of 48.8% over the same period last year.
Despite his significant contribution to the above impressive achievements, Nguyen Huu Manh was very modest when talking to us. He said that the current development of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch is the result of the solidarity and efforts of all branch employees and most importantly, the timely and correct strategic orientation of the Board of Directors of Joint Stock Company 22. It is this correct orientation that has given him more motivation and determination to complete his tasks well, bringing increasingly high sales for the unit.
From those initial successes, Nguyen Huu Manh said that in the coming time, he will continue to research, grasp market trends, apply digital technology more effectively in sales activities, increase the branch's revenue, and contribute to building 22 Joint Stock Company to become stronger and more developed.
