Factory Z157 (Motorcycle-Transport Department, General Department of Personnel and Technical Services) is considered the final hospital of the Military Motorcycle Industry. The brand "Z157" - the place to revive the leading motorcycle equipment of the entire army has been affirmed. Recently, in addition to performing regular tasks, the Factory has been entrusted by its superiors with the task of motorcycle technical design for major political events of the country. In 2024, the Factory successfully completed the task of participating in motorcycle technical design for major events, such as: Our country's leaders welcomed heads of state visiting Vietnam; The 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and many state-level events...

In 2025, the Factory continued to be entrusted by its superiors with the task of technical design for the ceremonial vehicle at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. The Party Committee and Board of Directors of Factory Z157 identified this as a particularly important political task, focusing on leading and directing departments and workshops to uphold their responsibilities, successfully completing assigned tasks, and not allowing even the smallest technical error to occur.

In order to ensure the best technical inspection and timely delivery of the vehicles according to the order from above, immediately after receiving them, the Factory deployed the Passenger Car Maintenance and Repair Workshop to organize overtime work, including working on Saturdays and Sundays to speed up the work progress. The relevant departments and divisions regularly follow the workshop closely, closely following the task. According to the Factory's leaders, the ceremonial vehicles were ordered from VinFast. To meet the technical requirements of the ceremonial vehicles, the Factory has improved some technical details on the vehicles, changed the color of the vehicles to military color; changed the interior, re-upholstered the entire floor and trunk, painted the rims and tires white and replaced new batteries for the vehicles... By March 20, the technical inspection work for the ceremonial vehicles was completed. After reporting to the head of the Ministry of National Defense , the vehicles were ready to be handed over to the unit performing the task.

Major Nguyen Anh Tuan, Manager of the Passenger Car Maintenance and Repair Workshop, said that the VinFast VF 9 is a new generation electric car, operated by an electronic control system, so the Workshop's technical team encountered many difficulties in approaching and accurately assessing the technical condition. Therefore, the Factory's staff proactively researched and closely coordinated with the VinFast technical team to quickly approach and master the technology for technical maintenance.

Previously, to train and practice ceremonial driving skills, the Department of Motorbikes and Transport handed over two VinFast VF 8 cars to Military Region 7 to organize phase 2 training. The ceremonial driving team was trained in key contents on parade driving techniques, ensuring speed and keeping distance between the command vehicle and the flag team's vehicle; driving techniques in parade formation, marching at prescribed speed; coordinating to handle possible incidents...

To do well the work of vehicle technical inspection, the leaders of the General Department of HC-KT regularly inspect, urge and direct the Department of Motorcycle-Transport to ensure good technical condition of vehicles performing parade and marching tasks. Organize the vehicle technical inspection force at training locations, joint training and during the maneuver process. To hand over tanks to the Armored Corps, the leaders of the General Department directed specialized departments and units to select, unseal, repair and synchronize two TS4B tanks and two T59 tanks.

Along with ensuring good vehicle and motorcycle engineering, for the work of military weapons, the General Department of Military and Technical Affairs has directed the military weapons sector of Military Region 7 and the Artillery Corps to ensure 18 105mm M101 ceremonial artillery pieces, including 15 official guns and 3 reserve guns; at the same time, distributing weapons, equipment, and ceremonial artillery shells to units. Doing a good job of preparing to recover weapons and equipment (phase 2) and distributing weapons to units participating in preliminary review, general rehearsal, and performing official tasks.

Up to this point, the agencies and units of the General Department of Personnel and Equipment have done a good job of ensuring technical means, weapons, equipment, and materials for the parade and marching forces.
