Since August 2023, the OCOP Quang Ninh e-commerce platform with the domain name http://ocopquangninh.com.vn has been put into operation with many new utilities and features. Up to now, the platform has been effective, helping businesses promote, introduce and trade specialties, especially OCOP Quang Ninh products.
Quang Ninh OCOP e-commerce platform was built in 2010 and upgraded for the first time in 2017 with a B2B (Business to Business) operating model, aiming to provide communication between businesses and consumers. Initially, the system brought certain effects to businesses and consumers.
In 2023, the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform will continue to be updated and upgraded to change its operating model from B2B to B2C (Business to Consumer). By January 2025, the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform with the domain name http://ocopquangninh.com.vn has completed the procedure for registering a website providing e-commerce services with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and has become a business model between businesses and consumers. The platform has many new features and utilities, such as: Integrated online payment, good security technology, easy to use, easy to see, registration with many forms of zalo, facebook... Along with operating on the internet application, the platform is also operating on both popular mobile application operating systems, Android and IOS. This helps businesses and consumers access services more easily, promoting the ability to interact and order quickly in the digital age.
Ms. Le Thi Lien (Cao Thang Ward, Ha Long City) shared: Since I learned about and ordered on the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform, I can order directly on my phone and get fast delivery and convenient payment. When using it, I find the interface and accessibility on the platform very reasonable, easy to use and linked to many other applications for registration, very professional and convenient. This will be a reputable sales channel, bringing OCOP products, typical agricultural products of Quang Ninh to reach far in the domestic, regional and international markets.
In addition, the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform also has additional pages such as thuonghieuquangninh.gov.vn; qnitrade.gov.vn; Fanpage of the Center for Promotion and Development of Industry and Trade, which is a system of news pages supporting the introduction of Quang Ninh agricultural products and trade promotion activities of the Quang Ninh Industry and Trade sector, to help consumers get detailed information about products and trade promotion activities of Quang Ninh province. The pages are linked to improve information efficiency, thereby helping the platform gain a solid foothold in the minds of consumers.
Up to now, the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform system has been operating stably, the products advertised on the platform are widely known and trusted by the people. More and more OCOP products are being advertised with full details about the design, listed price, origin, contact information of the manufacturer... Many brands have become familiar to the people and tourists, such as: Ha Long squid rolls, Co To dried squid, steamed milk oysters with meat, Binh Lieu vermicelli, Tien Yen chicken, Cai Rong fish sauce, shredded mussels, shredded oysters...
According to the representative of Quang Ninh Seafood Production and Trading Company Limited - BAVABI Seafood, in addition to participating in fairs, the Company brings all of its products to the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform and some other e-commerce platforms such as Postmart.vn, Voso.vn... Compared to before, the Company's products have reached consumers faster, in larger quantities and have developed in more markets. This helps businesses promote and consume products to consumers in the digital age like today.
Currently, the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform introduces 580 products of 250 enterprises, of which 393 products have achieved 3 stars or more. The number of visitors in 2023 is more than 132,025, in 2024 is 118,291 visits. All OCOP products posted on e-commerce platforms accept non-cash payment methods. Currently, the platform has signed with professional distribution partners with the Post Office and established links on e-commerce platforms of other provinces to connect consumption, such as: Thai Binh E-commerce Platform, Binh Thuan E-commerce Platform...
Mr. Hoang Duc Kha, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Center for Promotion and Development of Industry and Trade, said: Determining the goal and core foundation for the sustainable development of the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform is the quality of products and the diversity of the product portfolio. The Center continues to effectively manage the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform and integrate it with fairs, trade promotion, exhibitions, etc. in the province; strictly control product quality before putting it on the platform; continue to expand the product portfolio, not only limited to traditional food and beverage products that are strengths, but will proactively encourage and support OCOP units to put on the platform sophisticated handicraft products, unique community tourism services from rich local raw materials, etc. Thereby, contributing to more widely promoting Quang Ninh's OCOP products to people and tourists, enhancing the position of the Quang Ninh OCOP E-commerce Platform, actively contributing to the province's comprehensive digital transformation.
