Commending 25 typical advanced collectives and 13 individuals in the collective economic sector

On the morning of March 31, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance (CPA) held a conference to commend advanced models in the collective economic sector for the period 2020 - 2025. Attending the conference were comrades: Cao Xuan Thu Van, Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Collective Economic Development.

The leaders of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the emulation flag of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to the Provincial Cooperative Alliance for its excellent performance in completing its tasks in 2024.

From 2020 to present, cadres, civil servants, members, and employees in cooperatives, cooperative unions, people's credit funds, affiliated members, and enterprises have actively responded to the emulation movement, worked creatively, and fulfilled their tasks well. The provincial Cooperative Union has proactively coordinated with sectors, units, and localities to propagate and disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on collective economy; organized many training courses to improve professional skills and qualifications for cadres, members, and members.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Collective Economic Development presented flowers to congratulate the conference.

To date, Thai Binh has 245 cooperatives (an increase of 53 cooperatives compared to 2020), 481 cooperatives (an increase of 49 cooperatives), including 363 agricultural, forestry, fishery and aquaculture cooperatives; 85 people's credit funds; 33 cooperatives operating in the industrial sector and other sectors. The number of members of the Provincial Cooperative Union reached 446, an increase of 50 members compared to 2020, of which 73.5% operate in the agricultural sector.

The average total revenue of cooperatives by the end of 2024 will reach over 3.85 billion VND, with an average profit of 95 million VND/year. The whole province has 261 OCOP products, including 48 4-star products and 213 3-star products from 190 production entities, of which 72 are cooperatives. Currently, 50 units have registered to introduce products on the e-commerce platform, 10 units have registered to display and sell products at the stores of the Department of Science and Technology. Many cooperatives have signed contracts to consume products, build brands, product origins, and develop electronic information pages.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the whole province had 97 collectives and individuals awarded by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; 411 collectives and individuals were awarded by the Provincial Cooperative Alliance. The Provincial Cooperative Alliance was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial People's Committee and received an emulation flag from the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to launch emulation movements among cadres, civil servants, members and employees; promote propaganda and mobilize the application of science and technology in production and business; improve the quality of products and services; promote e-commerce, build product brands and enhance the prestige of cooperatives. At the same time, continue to advise on policies to support the development of collective economy.

At the conference, the leaders of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the emulation flag of the Executive Committee to the Provincial Cooperative Alliance for its outstanding achievements in 2024. Also at the conference, 24 collectives and 13 individuals were commended and rewarded by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and the Provincial Cooperative Alliance.

Leaders of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the period 2020 - 2025. Leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Union awarded prizes to collectives and individuals.
