
More than 1,000 km from the epicenter of the earthquake, people living in high-rise apartments in many districts in Hanoi such as Hai Ba Trung, Hoang Mai, Cau Giay, and Nam Tu Liem recorded objects shaking for more than 10 seconds.
"The climbing plant on my balcony shook for more than 10 seconds," said Nguyen Quy, who lives on the 19th floor of a building in Tay Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district.

Bangkok: Strong shaking, people poured into the streets
In Thailand's capital Bangkok, hundreds of people rushed out of high-rise buildings after feeling the earthquake tremors.
Witnesses there said the earthquake was so strong that it caused water to splash out of swimming pools.

The initial earthquake location was determined to be at latitude 22.01 degrees North and longitude 95.92 degrees East.
The earthquake occurred at 12:50 local time on March 28, near the city of Mandalay, Myanmar.
According to initial information, the epicenter was at a depth of 10km, and aftershocks were felt in neighboring countries such as China, Thailand, India, Laos, and Bangladesh. There have been no reports of casualties or damage caused by the earthquake in Myanmar.
