FPT Retail's revenue in the first 9 months of the year increased by 24%

(Dan Tri) - FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company (code FRT) announced its business results for the first 9 months of the year, recording consolidated revenue of VND 28,657 billion.

At the end of the first 9 months of the year, FPT Retail achieved consolidated revenue of VND28,657 billion, up 24% over the same period, completing 77% of the plan. Of which, the company's total online revenue reached VND5,041 billion, up 19% over the same period. FRT's pre-tax profit in the first 9 months reached VND358 billion.

FPT Long Chau chain recorded revenue growth of 62% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching VND 18,006 billion, accounting for 62% of FRT's total revenue and completing 85% of the 2024 plan. At the same time, operating efficiency was maintained with average revenue per pharmacy of about VND 1.2 billion/month, equivalent to previous quarters of the year.

After 3 quarters, FPT Shop's revenue reached 10,904 billion VND, accounting for 38% of the company's total revenue. With the determination to restructure the store system, product portfolio and optimize operations, FPT Shop's business results have gradually improved each quarter.

In the third quarter alone, FPT Shop had pre-tax profit and average revenue per store reaching 2.1 billion VND/month - the highest level since the beginning of the year, contributing to FRT's third quarter profit growth compared to previous quarters.

FPT Shop continues to promote the sale of new products and services to diversify its product portfolio and improve gross profit margins such as household appliances, electronics, and FPT network subscription development. In addition, this quarter, FPT Shop has tested the conversion of 10 regular FPT Shop stores to the FPT Shop Electronics model with differences in diverse household and electronics products, installation and delivery services. The company is expected to open 50 more FPT Shop Electronics stores in the last quarter of this year.

At the end of the first 9 months of the year, FPT Retail achieved 28,657 billion VND in revenue and 358 billion VND in pre-tax profit.

Regarding the store network, at the end of the first 9 months of the year, FPT Retail owned a network of 2,601 stores nationwide. Of which, FPT Long Chau continued to expand with 1,849 pharmacies, an increase of 352 pharmacies compared to the beginning of the year. In the third quarter alone, FPT Long Chau opened 143 new pharmacies, the highest number of new openings since the beginning of the year.

FPT Long Chau vaccination center system continues to expand, reaching 115 vaccine centers covering 46 provinces and cities, helping customers easily access quality medical services, contributing to helping FPT Long Chau gradually perfect the comprehensive healthcare ecosystem.

As of September 30, FPT Retail owns a network of 2,601 stores nationwide.

In the third quarter, FPT Retail simultaneously implemented many activities, focusing on community-oriented activities. FPT Long Chau launched the "Medication reminder" feature on the Long Chau - Medicine Expert application to support patients in ensuring proper adherence to treatment regimens and effectiveness. This feature applies AI technology to help customers create reminders in minutes, saving time and minimizing errors. With its convenience and ease of use, this feature promises to become a powerful assistant for patients, especially those with chronic diseases during treatment.

FPT Long Chau continues its series of community activities, typically by urgently mobilizing 10 tons of medicine to help people affected by storm Yagi.

Fully aware of the mission and responsibility of being the "Extended Arm" of the medical sector in community health care activities, Long Chau Vaccination and FPT Group donated 10,000 vaccine doses, accompanying the health care of students, women and children in Da Nang; launched the journey "Long Chau shares - Bringing health to children to school"; together with the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control, launched a campaign to vaccinate children against measles and rubella for free...

Accordingly, FPT Shop exploited business activities well, including promoting sales of AI laptops during the peak season of Back to School and successfully launching the iPhone 16 series with nearly 50,000 registered devices. In its first launch, the exclusive product combining "FPT SIM - Limited Edition" and "iPhone 16 series" continuously recorded a record number of SIM sales/day.
