(PLVN) - At the Conference of the Government Standing Committee working with businesses on solutions to contribute to the country's socio-economic development, Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman of the Strategy Committee of T&T Group, shared about many large projects of the unit and proposed a mechanism to implement large projects requiring high technology.

On the morning of September 21, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference of the Government Standing Committee working with businesses on solutions to contribute to the country's socio-economic development.

At the Conference, Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman of the Strategy Committee of T&T Group, said that T&T Group was established in 1993. Over the past 30 years, the group has developed and always accompanied and contributed to a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

Currently, with more than 80,000 staff, the group invests and operates in various fields, such as banking and finance, renewable energy and environment, industry and trade, import and export, high-tech logistics, seaports - airports - transport infrastructure, real estate, including industrial real estate, agriculture, forestry and sports. Currently, the group's business projects have been invested and put into operation with a total capital of up to tens of billions of USD.

Chairman T&T mentioned the multi-modal smart high-tech logistics project in Vinh Phuc, located in the supply chain of the China - Vietnam - ASEAN value corridor. This is a joint venture project with Singapore's YCH Group - a leading group in smart logistics in the world, as well as in Asia. Currently, the project is training 500 human resources in high-tech smart logistics and is committed to training, transferring technology, administration and management to Vietnamese people in the 10-year roadmap.

In addition to renewable energy projects with a capacity of more than 1,000 MW that have come into operation, T&T has cooperated with SK Group of Korea to produce green hydrogen, recover carbon emissions...

The Group also wants to cooperate with Danish and Japanese corporations to realize the idea of ​​investing in a renewable energy industrial complex in Vietnam to supply Vietnam and export to Asia and the world.

The Chairman of T&T also reported on projects that the group has been and is implementing in the road sector, such as the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway (Lam Dong), cooperation with Ramky Group (India) to invest in a high-tech pharmaceutical industrial park...

In addition, the group has been investing in an airport in Quang Tri (expected to be inaugurated in May 2026). Chairman Do Quang Hien asked relevant agencies to support the planning of this area into an aviation industrial complex and airport urban area.

Mr. Do Quang Hien proposed a mechanism for assigning tasks and appointing enterprises to implement projects requiring high technology, modern management, strong finance, on the basis of ensuring national security, complying with legal regulations, training human resources, transferring technology, transferring management, and if transferring or increasing capital, it must have the consent of the Vietnamese partner. These are also the conditions that T&T sets for major foreign partners in the process of production and business cooperation in Vietnam.
