On the morning of October 14, within the framework of the visit and working program in Ninh Binh, the high-ranking delegation of Asan city, Korea led by the Mayor of the city visited and worked with Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company (Tam Diep city) and visited the typical farmer Nguyen Van Quyen in Yen Phong commune (Yen Mo). Accompanying the delegation were leaders of several departments; leaders of Tam Diep city and Yen Mo district.
Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company is a unit specializing in production and trading in the field of vegetables, fruits and food, and is also one of the leading vegetable and fruit processing centers in the country, with a closed production model from agricultural production, processing and exporting vegetables and fruits with 4 modern production lines meeting international standards.
The company has grown and processed canned vegetables and fresh vegetables to serve domestic consumption and export needs. DOVECO's products have been exported in large quantities to many countries around the world such as the US, Germany, France, UK, Poland, Portugal, Mongolia, etc. At the same time, it has affirmed its ability to deeply integrate into the international economy through its revenue of 1,150 billion VND per year and affirmed its position in the "Club of enterprises with revenue of thousands of billions of VND".
Accordingly, DOVECO Ninh Binh Factory with an output of more than 32,000 tons of products/year, export turnover reached 68.95 million USD; DOVECO Gia Lai Factory with an output of 52,000 tons of products/year, export turnover reached 92.95 million USD and DOVECO Son La Factory with an output of 67,000 tons of products/year, export turnover reached 108.95 million USD...
DOVECO is striving to become an important link in the supply chain of Vietnam's agricultural industry, a bridge between the international agricultural market and domestic trading companies, manufacturers, farmers and consumers.
Speaking at the meeting, the Mayor of Asan City congratulated the results that Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company has achieved in recent years, affirming its position in the world market for exporting fruits and vegetables, especially being very impressed when visiting the pineapple fields, the raw material area of the Company. The Mayor hopes that in the near future, Korean people will be able to enjoy this fruit in Korea. Therefore, he will promote the nutritional values of pineapple to local people. At the same time, he hopes that in the near future, the Company will research and introduce some products for export to Korea, strengthen cooperation, and promote mutual development in the future.
The delegation also visited the model of growing netted melons in greenhouses and Korean milk grapes of Mr. Nguyen Van Quyen's household in Yen Phong commune (Yen Mo). In 2021, with support from the district, he invested in installing a net house system, greenhouses and an energy-saving irrigation system to grow green netted melons and yellow netted melons. On an area of 9,000m2, each year he harvests 4 crops, supplying nearly 30 tons of melons to the market.
In addition, he also grows Korean milk grapes, and is expected to harvest the first crop next June. At the same time, he combines experiential tourism and visiting the vineyard.
