French coach Patrick Mouratoglou told Tennis Majors : "Djokovic has not lost his form in two months, that is impossible. The problem is motivation. He won the battle with Federer, Nadal and that made his desire decrease."

Djokovic holds the record of 24 Grand Slam titles, along with impressive achievements at the ATP Finals and ATP Masters 1000 in his career. In 2024, Djokovic will be empty-handed in ATP tournaments. The Serbian player surprised everyone by not participating in the Paris Masters and ATP Finals, accepting a large deduction of points when he was the defending champion of the two tournaments.
