(Dan Tri) - Famous tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou believes that holding many records has made Novak Djokovic lose a lot of motivation to compete in 2024.
French coach Patrick Mouratoglou told Tennis Majors : "Djokovic has not lost his form in two months, that's impossible. The problem is motivation. He won the battle with Federer, Nadal and that made his desire decrease."

Djokovic holds the record of 24 Grand Slam titles, along with impressive achievements at the ATP Finals and ATP Masters 1000 in his career. Nole no longer has to worry about being surpassed in the Grand Slam record when his two rivals Rafael Nadal (22 Grand Slam titles) and Roger Federer (20 Grand Slam titles) have both retired.
In 2024, Djokovic will be empty-handed in ATP tournaments. The Serbian player surprised everyone by not participating in the Paris Masters and ATP Finals, accepting a large deduction of points when he was the defending champion of the two tournaments.
Djokovic found his momentum at the Paris Olympics in August, when the Olympic men's singles tennis gold medal was the only title missing from the Serbian's great collection.
"At the 2024 Olympics, Djokovic showed that when something is important enough, he can still play at the highest level," coach Patrick Mouratoglou said about Nole's strong desire to participate in the 2024 Olympics.
