DJ Mie first played the female lead role in the movie "Shark Fin Prequel" part 2 invested and produced by actor Quach Ngoc Tuyen.
Playing the only female lead role in the web drama "Vi Ca prequel" part 2 produced by actor Quach Ngoc Tuyen, DJ Mie impressed with her beauty and charming acting ability in the film. Mie said she was lucky to receive an invitation to participate in a big-budget film, and also as the main role. But in return, she will also show the audience, especially investors, that "the trust that everyone has in her will not be wasted".
Mie has been loved since appearing on the show Rap Viet.
Becoming known as a beautiful and emotional DJ in the Rap Viet program, Mie said she was lucky to be accepted. She even understood that she was not an excellent DJ, but she worked hard with the mindset of "hard work makes up for intelligence", "little by little, little by little", DJ Mie's life is now very different from before because she has many shows and also has a higher income than expected.
She asserted that one cannot judge a person's character by their work environment or clothing.
Mie said that the result was beyond her expectations. That result was not only about high income and improved life but also because she proved to the audience that the DJ profession does not only have dark corners and bad things like the default view in people's hearts.
She claims she grew up in a slum but that doesn't mean she's destined to fall.
In the past and even now, many people still think of DJs as a hot girl, her body covered by sheer fabric, dressed like she's going to the beach or at least in sexy leather, with tattoos all over her body and smoking cigarettes. But Mie says, in fact, everyone has their own style. She loves the princess style, so from the past until now, she is still a DJ who dresses girly and in everyone's eyes is "cheesy".
"I was fired for wearing a princess dress to work with the suggestion that if I changed my way of dressing, I would have a job and a higher salary. But I refused, even though a few months later, I ate instant noodles three times a day. People also say that the bar environment filled with the smell of beer, alcohol, and cigarette smoke can easily cause a female DJ to fall. A person born into a poor family, always worried about how to earn a lot of money like me, can easily "drown" in the honey, butterflies and promises of money. I don't know about other people, but for me, "Close to the mud but not smelling of the mud" is my life" - Mie said.
She said the thing she regrets most in her life is that she wasn't there when her father died.
Mie said that in the past, there were hidden corners in the DJ profession, especially for a female DJ playing music in a bar. But today, that is no longer the case. Because one of the conditions she always gives with performance invitations is "absolute security". Because she does not come close to the audience, the dangers and risks that people often mention, such as getting drunk or molesting Mie, do not exist.
Mie said she grew up in a slum where crime, robbery, gambling, and fighting happened every day. None of her peers finished fourth grade. But she was different. She studied well, had a decent job, and a bright future. "We can't blame the environment, because everyone has a chance to choose, what matters is what you choose," Mie shared.
She accepts living in poverty but does not let others control her.
For Mie, one of the things she regrets most in her life is not being present when her father passed away because he was on tour abroad.
Admitting that she is heartless, Mie says she has to change.
In recent days, the relationship between Mie and actress Hong Thanh has been of interest to netizens with rumors of a breakup after many years of love. Mie said that any couple has moments of arguing. Recently, she and her lover had a big argument and so they went into a cold war. But now everything is fine, after both of them were able to sit down and resolve the conflict. However, when it comes to getting married, Mie said: "That is not yet considered because I am still busy with work and ambition."
To maintain her long-term relationship with actress Hong Thanh, Mie said they both had to tolerate each other. She is a controlling person while Hong Thanh is a patriarch.
