The report at the conference emphasized that digital transformation is an inevitable trend globally and is an important and urgent solution, serving as a basis for building and implementing programs and plans for socio-economic development of Dien Bien province. As of last June, the whole province had 1,200 enterprises.

Up to now, the role of enterprises in local digital transformation has become increasingly important in the economy; in particular, 100% of communes, wards, towns, residential groups, and villages have established Community Digital Transformation Teams with over 9,000 members going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every address, supporting people to access basic digital platforms.

At the conference, representatives of Misa Joint Stock Company, Provincial Business Association, Information Technology and Communications Center (Provincial Department of Information and Communications) and Provincial Department of Information and Communications presented specialized reports such as: Digital platform for digital transformation for small and medium enterprises, cooperatives; digital transformation - an inevitable trend of provincial enterprises integrating and developing; deploying Smart Dien Bien App (video clip, instructions for installing and using the app); announcing the results of the Digital Transformation Index in 2022 of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province.

Representatives of agencies and units signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote digital transformation for businesses in Dien Bien province.

Thereby, relevant authorities and units have committed to supporting businesses in Dien Bien province to access services, solutions, use digital platforms, and gradually implement digital transformation to help businesses reduce costs, maximize work efficiency, adapt flexibly, increase transparency and efficiency, enhance product value, competitiveness, and increase revenue and profits for businesses.
