Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has a floor score of 18-23, the same as last year.

On July 26, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine announced the admission scores. All majors apply the same minimum score for candidates from Ho Chi Minh City and nationwide, only considering admission to block B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology).

General Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry all have a minimum score of 23 - the highest in the school. Optometry and Public Health have the lowest minimum score - 18 points. The remaining majors have a minimum score of 19 points.

In addition to the minimum score, the Ophthalmology major has an additional requirement that candidates must have a high school graduation exam score in English of 7 or higher.

In 2023, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will enroll 1,366 students. The enrollment quota for each major is 50% allocated to candidates in Ho Chi Minh City to meet the city's medical human resources needs, the rest is for candidates from other provinces and cities.

Last year, the benchmark score of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (TYS) ranged from 18.01 to 26.65. The two majors of Medicine and Dentistry for candidates with registered residence outside of Ho Chi Minh City had the highest benchmark score - 26.65.
