Contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, in all districts and cities in the province, music clubs have been formed and developed, attracting hundreds of members to participate. Not only are they a meeting place for music passion, the clubs with flexible and creative ways have practically encouraged the core of artists to enthusiastically practice and participate in performances, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, contributing to building a renewed homeland.

Singing from the grassroots
Established in 2020, the Eastern Cultural and Artistic Club of Tien Hai District is currently home to 120 members from 11 communes: Dong Trung, Dong Hoang, Dong Tra, Dong Long... Although the age of the members ranges from 20 to 60, according to the club's management board, this is not a difficulty because the members come to the club from a passion for music and a spirit of volunteering to contribute to the local arts movement. With each practice activity, most members actively participate and respect each other to stage the best quality performances. Although the club is in a rural area, fundraising for activities such as preparing venues, costumes, sound, lighting... for each performance program has received high consensus from the members. Some contribute labor and money, making the club's activities more and more exciting, meeting the needs of the people's cultural and artistic activities, while also participating in music festivals organized by the district and province.
Mr. Ta Van Du, Chairman of the Club, said: Not fixed at one location, each performance is organized by the Club in turn in the Eastern communes of the district, creating a spreading effect on the people. The joy of the brothers and sisters in the Club is that in whichever commune the performance location is set, the people of that commune come to support in large numbers, which is an encouragement and motivation for the Club to organize more programs. The Club often practices and performs songs about the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, about love for the homeland and country, interspersed with songs about love between couples. For the Club to operate effectively, the Executive Committee always keeps in mind that the role of the leader is very important, must attract and gather brothers and sisters, and arouse in all members a passion for music.
From the passion for music, the performances are elaborately staged to serve music lovers.
Where passion shines
The Kien Xuong District Music Lovers Club is home to more than 200 members. Actively operating for the past 11 years, the Club has dedicated to audiences in all communes and towns in the district many impressive performances on the occasion of major holidays and anniversaries of the country and the locality. Operating on the voluntary spirit of talented members with a passion for music, many of the Club's performances have attracted a number of music clubs in the province and other localities such as Hai Phong and Nam Dinh to participate, creating a spirit of exchange, learning, connection, strengthening solidarity, and promoting the mass art movement.
As an active member of the club, Ms. Nguyen Mai Thuyen excitedly shared: I feel that the amateur music movement of the localities is very developed and has a widespread influence. That place is a very good playground for talented people to discover their talents, be nurtured, and spread their wings. In fact, there have been talents from the mass movement that have been trained, creating motivation to go on the professional path. The brothers and sisters in the club voluntarily put their efforts into the healthy art movement. Each person has their own job, busy with everyday worries, but once they start practicing, they all put aside their own work to try to make the movement develop more and more.
Taking on the role of dancer in programs performed by the Thai Binh City Music Lovers Club, Ms. Pham Tuyet Trinh said: I am very passionate about music. When joining the Club, I was given the opportunity to learn and improve my knowledge and skills through training programs, so the "flame" of passion became more and more "burning". Not only myself but also the members of the Club look forward to the exchange programs and music festivals organized by the City Sports and Culture Center, the Provincial Cultural Center and the districts because we can contribute together to build a more vibrant and developed cultural life.
Not only staging and performing existing songs, the good news in the current mass art movement is that many members of music clubs have continuously learned, improved their knowledge, actively researched and composed songs suitable for the local movement. From there, the songs not only reach the music-loving public but also practically propagate, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks.
