Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities benchmark scores after 6 virtual filterings

The benchmark score after 6 virtual filtering rounds of Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities increased by 0.5-2 points, strongest in block C00.

On the evening of August 20, Dr. Pham Tan Ha, Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University, said that after 6 virtual filtering sessions nationwide, the school's admission scores tended to increase from 0.5 to more than 2 points, depending on the major and combination.

He said that each major has its own admission score according to each admission combination. In particular, the admission score according to group C00 (Literature, History, Geography) increased more than other combinations, about 1-2 points, some majors increased more than 2 points.

"The industries with benchmark scores in the range of 21-24 last year have a larger increase. Some industries with benchmark scores in the top have not fluctuated much, increasing or decreasing by about 0.25-0.5 points," said Dr. Ha, the expected scores may change due to 4 more virtual filtering rounds.

The school will announce the benchmark scores and list of successful candidates on August 23. The standard tuition fee for the 2023 enrollment period is expected to range from 13-60 million VND per year, depending on the major.

In 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will enroll 3,600 students through five admission methods. The two main admission methods are based on high school graduation exam scores (45-55% of the target) and the competency assessment test organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University (38-50% of the target).

Last year, the benchmark score for Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities was around 20 - 28.25, the highest was for journalism with combination C00, the lowest was for Italian Language.
