Candidates taking the high school graduation exam this year
This morning (August 18), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores based on the 2024 high school graduation exam.
This year, the admission score for majors using this method ranges from 22 to 28.8 points, a slight increase compared to 2023.
In particular, the average admission score for the C00 block has increased by 2-3 points compared to the 2023 standard score. In particular, the religious studies major has increased by 5 points (the C00 block standard score in 2023 is 21 points, in 2024 is 26 points).
In 2024, the highest benchmark scores belong to the C00 admission groups such as: journalism with the highest benchmark score of 28.88 points, followed by tourism and travel services management with 28.33 points, cultural studies with 28.2 points, art studies with 28.15 points and history with 28.1 points. In addition, the number of majors with a benchmark score of 27 or higher is 22, accounting for 16.17% of the total.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the admission scores, successful candidates must confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission system no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27. At the same time, candidates must go directly to the universities to complete admission procedures according to the time frames specified by each university. From August 28, universities with remaining enrollment quotas will announce additional admission rounds.
