National Economics University increases nearly 600 enrollment targets in 2025

(Dan Tri) - Compared to last year, this year the National Economics University increased its enrollment quota by nearly 600 (about 6%). The information was just announced by the school tonight (March 28).

Specifically, in 2025, the number of enrollment codes is 73, an increase of 7 codes compared to 2024.

In the 7 new enrollment codes in 2025, there are 2 majors trained in Vietnamese: International Commercial Law and Labor Relations.

Two advanced training program codes, including 5 programs; 3 high-quality training program codes (16 programs).

This year, the total expenditure is 8,500, of which the regular university system is 8,200; the regular university transfer system: 300.

Thus, compared to 2024 (total target is 7,950), the total target in 2025 increases by about 6%.

Admission methods remain the same as in 2024, including: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training: 3% of total enrollment target.

Admission based on 2024 high school graduation exam scores and combined admission based on National Economics University's admission information: 97%

Admission method combined with candidates: Candidates with SAT, ACT certificates; Candidates with separate exams; Candidates with international English certificates IELTS/TOEFL iBT/TOEIC 4 skills combined with 2025 graduation exam scores; Combined with separate exams.

This year, for the first time, advanced, high-quality training programs are recruited from the beginning with 5 separate codes (2 advanced training program codes and 3 high-quality training program codes).

This is different because in 2024, these programs enroll students after they are accepted into the program.

In addition, the school also announced the principles for determining the equivalent conversion of input thresholds and admission scores between admission methods according to the general instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training according to the admission regulations and will announce them immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training issues instructions.

Converting admission scores between admission methods and admission combinations: Universities will follow the general instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and will announce at the latest the time of announcing the threshold to ensure input quality according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training (expected after the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam are available).

Last year, the National Economics University enrolled 7,950 students, with 66 majors (60 in 2023), including: 5 majors in technology including: Information Security, Information Systems (taught in Vietnamese); Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering (taught in English) and 1 major in Tourism: Entertainment and Event Management.

This year, the National Economics University also announced that the expected tuition fee for the regular university training program is from 15 to 18 million VND. The roadmap for tuition fee increase is a maximum of 10%/year according to regulations.
