The Prime Minister emphasized that from now until the end of 2025, there are only about 450 days and nights left to complete the goal of eliminating all temporary and dilapidated houses. Up to now, through review, the whole country still has about 400,000 temporary and dilapidated houses, which do not ensure "3 solids" or lack quality.

For Binh Thuan province, the Party Committee and the government have also paid great attention to and directed the work of promoting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province to promote the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. During the period from 2021 to 2023, the Provincial Gratitude Fund has supported the construction and repair of 222 houses for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs facing housing difficulties with a total budget of more than 7.7 billion VND. In addition, from the "For the Poor" Fund managed by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the province has built 420 houses and repaired 50 houses for poor households. Looking back at the poverty reduction work in general and the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in particular in the past time, it shows that, together with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, localities in the province have actively participated. Spreading the movement to eliminate leaky and temporary houses not only helps stabilize and improve people's lives, contribute to the country's socio-economic development, but also ensures social order and security. Identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as an important criterion for sustainable poverty reduction and implementing the criteria for new rural construction.

Over the years, Binh Thuan province has always paid attention to, promptly and fully implemented the Party and State's policies and guidelines on poverty reduction programs associated with new rural construction. At the same time, it has promoted the dissemination of the Party's policies and the State's policies on supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households to cadres, civil servants, party members, mass organizations, localities and people, thereby creating support and consensus from all walks of life. Many specific and detailed solutions have been implemented, and all levels, sectors and localities have also paid attention to directing the review of poor households living in temporary and dilapidated houses that need housing support, based on the number allocated by superiors to direct localities to organize evaluation in order of priority. Binh Thuan will also be determined to join the whole country in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025.
