Ms. Truong My Nhi (Tan Lap Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) said that she sells many products online, so she often delivers goods to customers at many different addresses in the city. Since the authorities installed the above signs, her delivery has been more convenient than before. However, only during off-peak hours, but during rush hour when she encounters a red light, she almost cannot turn right to go in the desired direction because the vehicles are stopped tightly, so the additional signs to reduce traffic congestion are almost ineffective.
Mr. Bui Van Thanh, a motorbike taxi driver, shared that currently when going through many intersections such as Phan Chu Trinh - Y Moan, Phan Chu Trinh - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ly Tu Trong..., especially during rush hour, when encountering a red light, people who want to turn right must also wait for the green light because the driver of the vehicle stops without leaving a way for the vehicle that needs to turn right. "Sometimes when the customer is in a hurry, I have to honk my horn or ask for the right of way, then hopefully the vehicle in front will give way to me. Not to mention that during rush hour, there is no gap for the stopped vehicle to pass," Mr. Thanh said.

Discussing this issue, according to Senior Lieutenant Phung Van Khuong, Head of the Buon Ma Thuot City Area Team (under Team 5 - Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police), to reduce congestion, at intersections with traffic lights in the city center, there are signs indicating "Two-wheeled motorbikes are allowed to turn right at red lights". Because the road surface is not wide enough, it is not possible to draw lane lines for each type of vehicle. Therefore, people stopping at red lights without leaving space for vehicles to turn right is not a violation.
However, with the goal of building a civilized, safe, and smooth urban area, when stopping at a red light, people should leave a space for vehicles that need to turn right. This creates favorable conditions for drivers, demonstrates culture when participating in traffic, and contributes to minimizing traffic congestion and congestion in the city center.
