The leader of Van Khe Commune People's Committee said that the landslide on the left bank of the Red River in the above area occurred since storm No. 3. The incident caused cracks in houses, collapsed walls, and felled trees of 3 households living in the riverbank area of Van Quan 1 village. The local government has put up warning signs at the landslide site to warn people and limit their access. |

Ms. Lo Thi Ha (Van Quan 1 village) said that due to the landslide, her house was tilted and pulled towards the riverbank. In addition, the kitchen floor and the wall on the second floor were cracked. Her family had evacuated to a relative's house for more than a month, but recently had to return home because they could not stay there forever.
