The Organizing Committee held a press conference to announce the VnExpress Marathon Volvo All-Star 2025.

As the newest event in the VnExpress Marathon system, this year's tournament is only for two distances: 21km and 42km. To participate in the tournament, athletes will have to review their entry results. In the 42km event, male athletes must have completed a full marathon in under 4 hours (sub4), while female athletes must have completed a full marathon in under 5 hours (sub5). For the 21km distance, men must achieve sub2 and women must achieve sub2:30.

The 42km race will start at 5am, and the 21km race will start 30 minutes later. Athletes of both races will start from the National Innovation Center, passing through National Highway 21, Road E of FPT University Hanoi, internal roads of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, inter-commune roads... before reaching the finish line at the gate of FPT Software Hoa Lac headquarters.

According to the organizers, the entire route is completely locked, the asphalt surface has many long straight sections, almost no slopes. The course has 9 bends, only one wide turning point for both 42 and 21km distances, the total elevation difference is about 100m up and 100m down. These factors create conditions for runners to set personal records.
