National Assembly Deputies of Thanh Hoa province meet voters of Muong Lat district

On the afternoon of July 1, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province, including delegates: Mai Van Hai, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Cao Manh Linh, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee, met with voters of Muong Lat district after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

National Assembly Deputy Cao Manh Linh informed about the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, voters of Muong Lat district expressed their excitement at the decisions passed by the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; highly appreciated the quality of activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province at the session.

Representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ethnic Minorities, and Agriculture and Rural Development reported to the National Assembly deputies the difficulties and shortcomings in the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the district. Accordingly, the general support content of the 3 sub-projects under the Program is basically the same (support for agricultural production development, seedlings, livestock, beneficiaries, support rates), leading to difficulties in direction and appraisal, and easy overlap.

Representatives of functional departments also proposed that superiors should assign a focal unit to take charge of project implementation during the capital allocation and project implementation process.

Voters of Muong Lat town requested the National Assembly to consult with ministries, branches and localities to speed up the upgrading of Ten Tan National Border Gate to Ten Tan International Border Gate according to Decision No. 1201/QD-TTg dated October 14, 2023 of the Prime Minister "approving the planning of border gates on the Vietnam - Laos land border for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045" to facilitate the trade of goods between people on both sides of the border; at the same time, contributing to promoting the friendship, economic, trade and tourism cooperation between Thanh Hoa and Hua Phan provinces (Laos).

Voters of Muong Ly commune requested the National Assembly to pay attention and have appropriate mechanisms and preferential policies for the people, cadres and civil servants of Muong Ly commune to feel secure in their work and stabilize their lives. Although not a border commune, Muong Ly commune is a commune in the buffer zone of border communes, and the people's lives still face many difficulties.
