The exchange was attended by representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Bangkok and surrounding areas, representatives of CP Group and Vietnamese expatriate businesses in Thailand. More than 60 Vietnamese students, including more than 30 new students studying at training institutions across Thailand, attended the program.

In her welcoming speech, President of the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep said that over the past time, the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand has always affirmed its role as a bridge to connect, strengthen solidarity, share and accompany Vietnamese students in Thailand. The Association has launched and organized many activities in response to the emulation movement "5 Good Students", thereby helping students to constantly cultivate, train and develop themselves comprehensively.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, Minister Counselor Bui Thi Hue expressed her joy and appreciation for the results of the activities of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association in Thailand; said that since the Congress was held in 2023, with the guidance of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association and the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association in Thailand has made great efforts in all aspects of work, demonstrated through meaningful activities such as establishing academic forums, organizing sports exchanges, organizing online competitions to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 2024), participating in supporting the activities of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, the Vietnamese community in Bangkok and localities.

Counselor Bui Thi Hue hopes that the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand will continue to grow, attracting the participation of a large number of Vietnamese students in Thailand, promoting exchanges with students from other countries, contributing to promoting the cultural values of the Vietnamese people to Thai and international friends, and contributing to the friendly relations between Vietnam and Thailand.
In an interview with Nhan Dan Newspaper's correspondent in Thailand, President of the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep affirmed her determination to work with the Executive Board of the Association to promote community activities, support and help students in difficulty, especially newly enrolled students; said that in the recent past, the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand has done a very good job in selecting typical examples of ethics, study, training... among Vietnamese students in Thailand to honor "5 Good Students".

President of the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep said that, in addition to the close guidance of the Embassy and support from the Central Association, the Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand also received help, attention, support and companionship from the Vietnamese Association in Bangkok and surrounding areas as well as the Vietnamese Business Association in Thailand and Vietnamese enterprises operating in Thailand. This is a source of encouragement and support not only materially but also spiritually so that Vietnamese students in Thailand can feel more secure while living and studying in Thailand.
Sharing with Nhan Dan Newspaper's correspondent in Thailand, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung, Vice President of the Vietnamese Association in Bangkok and surrounding areas, said that he was very impressed with the activities and results achieved by Vietnamese students; he hopes that the students will bring the knowledge they have learned and researched back to serve Vietnam, contributing to the good friendship between the people of Vietnam and Thailand.

The Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand was established in 2017 and is one of 13 overseas Vietnamese student associations under the Vietnam Student Association. After 7 years of establishment and development, the Association has increasingly gathered the widespread participation of Vietnamese students studying in Thailand and has many practical and diverse activities continuing the tradition of the Vietnam Student Association.

At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded Certificates of Merit to the Vietnam Student Association in Thailand and 5 individuals for their outstanding achievements in association work and student movements. In addition, many individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Certificates of Merit from the Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
