Tour for reporters working on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day

These are war correspondents, reporters from countries that supported Vietnam during the war, and overseas reporters.

It is expected that about 180 international reporters and seven overseas Vietnamese reporters from the US and Europe will directly attend and report on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Along with that, up to now, more than 600 domestic reporters from more than 80 press agencies have registered to work on this occasion.

Notably, the City People's Committee coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism to organize 3 thematic tours to serve reporters working in the city, specifically: "Legend of the Sac Forest Special Forces Heroes"; "Cu Chi, the land of steel and bronze: Underground tunnels"; "From Mau Than to Xuan Dai Thang".

These special press tours will provide a vivid perspective, reflecting the changes and dynamic development of Ho Chi Minh City today.

During the holiday, Ho Chi Minh City organized many exciting cultural and artistic activities: Voting for 50 characters, 50 construction works, 50 typical literary and artistic works including cinema, sculpture, music , photography... Besides the film Tunnels which is being widely shown nationwide, the city will organize the screening of cinematographic works associated with 50 years of the liberation of the South and national reunification; coordinate with the private cinema system to organize screenings to serve the people based on the voting results of 50 typical artistic works in the fields of literature and art.

At the press conference, Director of the Department of Performing Arts Nguyen Xuan Bac said: The special art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will have the participation of more than 1,000 professional and non-professional artists and actors.
