In her opening speech, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy assessed: Throughout its operation, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has become a place to preserve, conserve and promote the diverse traditional cultural values ​​rich in identity of the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. Since implementing the coordination regulations between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and localities across the country, activities at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism have gradually stabilized.

The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has become a familiar destination, loved by ethnic minorities and domestic and foreign tourists. The frequent and lively presence of ethnic groups from various localities... bringing with them customs, habits, folk songs, folk dances, traditional costumes, and typical rituals of ethnic communities... contributes to creating a rich and unique cultural space throughout the houses, hamlets, and villages at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy delivered the opening speech.

In particular, the motto "letting cultural subjects introduce themselves" is carried out throughout annual events of great political and cultural significance such as: "Spring Colors in All Regions of the Fatherland" Festival, Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day, "Great Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week... Or highlight programs, daily activities such as traditional festivals, costume shows, handicrafts, cuisine, folk games... These activities have "breathed life" into each house in the "Common House" of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village. More importantly, the activities have brought the cultural values ​​of ethnic groups closer to the people and tourists, especially the young generation.

Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy suggested that the conference is an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the results achieved, the difficulties and challenges that need to be overcome, and the lessons learned... From there, identify solutions to continue to implement more effective coordination in the new situation.

In addition, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and localities will jointly establish a more sustainable, cohesive and long-term development orientation, review current coordination regulations, and propose effective methods and approaches for operation in the coming time. With a long-term and effective vision, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is the place to most vividly introduce the image of the country, its people, and the value of its cultural heritage to domestic and international tourists.
