At the Training-Mobile Battalion, the Hue City Border Guard Command coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports and the City Library to organize the response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 and to propagate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) with many exciting and practical activities.
Highlights include activities such as: artistic book stacking contest; book introduction, emphasizing the significance of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; propaganda and education on patriotic traditions, revolutionary spirit, and indomitable will of our army and people in the cause of defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Hue City Border Guard Command also presented 500 books to the model of "Book boxes, training ground newspapers"; the Hue City Department of Culture and Sports presented 2 "Hue Bookcases" under the Project "Establishing and developing Hue Bookcases" along with 50 typical Hue cultural publications; the City General Library presented 100 books to officers and soldiers of the Training - Mobile Battalion of the Hue City Border Guard.
Not only the Border Guard, meaningful activities also spread strongly to the border communes of the city. At Dien Hai Secondary School (Phong Dien town), Phong Hai Border Guard Station coordinated to organize a colorful and inspiring Book Festival.

Here, students can visit a rich book display space, learn about history, law, islands and life skills. The program also includes propaganda about border and island sovereignty, helping students raise awareness and sense of responsibility in protecting the Fatherland.
On this occasion, Hue City Border Guard presented 100 books; Phong Hai Border Guard Station presented 70 books to Dien Hai Secondary School; Phong Hai Border Guard Station presented 5 gifts to students in difficult circumstances who have made great achievements in their studies.

According to the leader of the Hue City Border Guard Command, activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day not only promote creativity and build a healthy cultural environment in the unit but also contribute to spreading knowledge, fostering personality and civic responsibility, especially among the young generation in border areas.
