On the evening of March 28, the French Food Festival “Balade en France” in conjunction with the International Francophone Festival 2025 opened at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi, attracting a large number of Hanoians and many tourists.
This year, the French Food Festival expanded its scale for the first time, collaborating with the Francophone Community to organize an event with a meaningful message to spread and honor the diversity and cultural exchange between countries in the Francophone bloc in general and the Francophone community in Vietnam in particular.
The three main activities include the third Francophone Run, a fair space to discover products from France and Francophone countries, and a learning workshop with the theme "I study and I act".
One of the highlights is the culinary and cultural experience area, which brings together more than 40 booths from famous brands and restaurants. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy many typical dishes such as bread, cheese, cold cuts, chocolate, fresh fruit, wine and exquisite drinks from France.
In addition to food, the exhibition areas of fashion and tourism products, combined with interesting interactive games, also attracted a large number of visitors to experience. The event also included special art performances from French-speaking schools in Hanoi and famous and talented singers and artists.
Not only for entertainment, the French Festival and the Francophone Community also convey the message of promoting the spirit of learning and working to young people. Booths on education, cultural exchange and seminars will bring scholarships, French language training courses, internship and job opportunities in French for students and recent graduates.
After the opening ceremony, the festival will be open to visitors from now until 5:00 p.m. on March 30, 2025./.
