Border guard captain returns property to people

At 40:00 on March 20, Captain Vo Van Quy, Political Assistant of the Da Nang Port Border Guard (City Border Guard) went to the MB Bank ATM at 199 Dong Da (Hai Chau District) to make a transaction and discovered a large amount of money in the money slot (including 75 bills of 500,000 VND, totaling 37.5 million VND.

Immediately, Captain Vo Van Quy proactively contacted MB bank to conduct a check to find the owner of the above amount. Through the check, it was verified that the owner of the above amount is Mr. Ngo Hoang Tan (born in 1978), currently residing at FHOME building, No. 16 Ly Thuong Kiet (Hai Chau district).

Mr. Tan said that at around 8:30 p.m. on March 20, he went to the MB bank ATM at 199 Dong Da to deposit money into his personal account, but after returning home, he discovered that the money had not been deposited into his account, and he was very worried.

After coordinating with the bank to verify the owner of the money, on the morning of March 27, Captain Vo Van Quy went to the bank to complete the procedures to return the money to Mr. Ngo Hoang Tan. Receiving the money back, Mr. Tan expressed his joy and wrote a letter of thanks to Captain Vo Van Quy and the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command.
