At the academy, General Phan Van Giang and members of the delegation spent a lot of time inspecting the lecture hall system, student dormitories, and facilities serving teaching, learning, and research. In the classrooms, General Phan Van Giang inspected and gave specific comments to lecturers and students on teaching methods, style, and content.

Talking to the students, General Phan Van Giang warmly asked about the name, unit, position, family situation of each student before coming to study at the academy, their wishes during their studies and after graduation. Sharing memories of the time he studied and trained at the Army Academy before, General Phan Van Giang said that the experiences and knowledge accumulated during his time at the school are very important, therefore, each student needs to make the most of their time to accumulate knowledge, practice their character and style, constantly mature, and meet the requirements of their tasks after graduation.

There have been many innovations in education and training, the academy has basically completed the development of output standards for training programs according to positions; completed training regulations and admission regulations; promoted the application of active and modern teaching methods, focusing on learners, improving students' thinking ability, turning the training process into a self-training process. In 2024, the academy implemented many excellent scientific research topics at the Ministry of National Defense and industry levels, and completed the content of the project "Building a smart and modern Army Academy by 2030, with a vision to 2045"...

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang warmly congratulated the Army Academy on its achievements and remarkable growth. General Phan Van Giang expressed his joy at returning to the Army Academy, seeing that the academy is increasingly spacious and modern; education, training and scientific research have many innovations, creativity and efficiency; the academy maintains strict discipline and regularity; the material and spiritual life of cadres, lecturers, students, soldiers and workers is constantly improving.

Regarding the future direction, General Phan Van Giang suggested that the Army Academy grasp the situation, proactively research and propose solutions to organize forces, combat plans, and build defense zones when implementing the policy of 3-level government and not organizing at the district level; research and propose appropriate training content and programs after implementing the policy; continue to improve the quality of education, training and scientific research; organize well the Party congresses at all levels in the entire academy; strengthen internal solidarity, military-civilian solidarity; actively prepare for the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Army Academy (July 7, 1946 / July 7, 2026); build a clean and strong Party Committee of the academy, a comprehensively strong academy "exemplary and typical".
