Deeply aware of the functions and tasks, in recent times, the Party Committee and the Command of the Technical Support Center have resolutely and synchronously implemented solutions to improve the quality of technical support work, organize the reception, preservation, maintenance, and safe storage; ensure the full and timely availability of thousands of tons of ammunition, equipment, and technical supplies, meeting the requirements and training tasks and combat readiness of the units.

To successfully complete the task, the unit attaches importance to building and training a team of highly skilled and specialized technical staff. The unit always strictly maintains the technical training regime and order; combines training with the task implementation process to foster and improve the professional qualifications of technical staff; implements superiors to train subordinates, experienced people to mentor inexperienced people in the direction of "practicality, close to task requirements", "training where weak". The unit organizes exams, tests on professional skills; tests, proposes to grant independent certificates of exploitation of technical equipment (TBKT) for CMKT staff strictly and seriously. Implements well the breakthrough training "Basic, mastery, in-depth in exploitation and use of technical equipment and implementation of safety rules"; focuses on in-depth training, mastery of technical equipment; Focus on training to master inspection lines and practice upgrading processes for special ammunition; improve the level of mastery of preservation technology, storage of special ammunition, technical equipment and materials.

The Center proactively develops plans for training cadres and professional training according to their majors; assigns tasks to cadres, soldiers, and CMKT staff to self-train through direct participation in repairing and preserving technical equipment and learning from engineers and experts of the Military Technical Academy, the Naval Technical Institute, factories, and partners in the process of repairing and maintaining technical equipment at the unit. In addition, the Center creates favorable conditions, encourages and motivates the team of CMKT engineers and staff to promote self-study, self-research, and promote technical innovation initiatives. From 2019 to present, the unit has implemented 32 initiatives and technical innovations that have been effectively applied in the training, preservation, repair of technical equipment, and upgrading of special ammunition. Up to now, the team of CMKT officers and staff of the unit is capable of repairing according to the hierarchy, and is capable of repairing some damaged equipment beyond the level.

To improve the quality of technical work, the Party Committee and the Command of the Technical Center promote the emulation movement and the Campaign "Management, exploitation of weapons, technical equipment well, durable, safe, economical and traffic safety" associated with the implementation of 2 breakthroughs of the technical sector "building a regular technical order; mastering technical equipment" and the requirement to build "regular and safe" warehouses and stations. The Center has issued specific criteria on building a regular technical order and mastering technical equipment, widely deployed to each warehouse, station, and each sector; improving the quality of technical equipment management on 3 criteria: Quantity, quality and synchronization. To achieve this, the unit maintains a strict and practical implementation of the "technical day" regime; commanders at all levels regularly inspect and rectify the implementation of regulations on building a regular technical order, especially the implementation of duties and regulations of technical work; Complete the system of books and forms with sufficient quantity and correct content and specifications; organize timely and accurate registration and statistics. In 2023, the BĐKT Center is honored to be chosen as a place for units in the entire Army to visit and learn about building "regular and safe" warehouses and stations.

As a unit that manages a large volume of special ammunition, infantry weapons, technical equipment for combat vehicles and technical supplies, with a system of nearly 100 warehouses and workshops of all kinds. Therefore, the Center regularly disseminates, educates and builds for officers, soldiers, and defense workers a love for the profession and a sense of respect for technical equipment, thereby enhancing their responsibility in preserving, maintaining, sealing and extending the shelf life of technical equipment. The unit pays special attention to ensuring the safety of the warehouse system. The unit focuses on strictly maintaining regulations on fire safety and safety when handling weapons and ammunition; strengthening measures to ensure the safety of ammunition warehouses; arranging and organizing the system of warehouses scientifically and neatly; actively applying information technology to the management of warehouses and technical areas. Closely combine the work of classifying the quality of weapons, ammunition, and technical supplies with the arrangement according to the priority plan for combat readiness tasks and combat to protect sea and island sovereignty , contributing to shortening the time for upgrading, distributing, and handing over technical equipment to units. The unit synchronously deploys measures to prevent heat, leakage, and collapse of the warehouse system; regularly reviews, supplements plans, and practices fire and explosion prevention and control plans; closely coordinates with local Party committees, authorities, people, and forces stationed in the area to do a good job of building safe units associated with building safe areas.
