On June 9, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hoa Lu University held the 7th Congress of Delegates, term 2024-2027.
Attending the opening ceremony of the Congress were leaders of the Provincial Youth Union; Board of Directors of Hoa Lu University; Standing Committees of District, City and affiliated Youth Unions.
During the past term, the Hoa Lu University Youth Union has strived to successfully implement the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the University Youth Union, term 2022 - 2024, clearly affirming the core political role of the Youth Union, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the University and the youth movement in the province. The cadres, union members and youth of Hoa Lu University have united, overcome difficulties, been creative, and strived to achieve many important results in all aspects of work. The political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education work of the University Youth Union has had many innovations in content and methods, contributing to building a generation of young people who are patriotic, idealistic, full of dreams, ambitions and have solid political qualities.
The Youth Union has implemented movements, programs and activities to support youth extensively, with rich content, practical for youth union members and bringing about practical social effects. The work of consolidating and building the Youth Union organization, the Youth Union participating in Party building and School building has had positive changes. The Youth Union's advisory and direction work has had many innovations.
Organizing revolutionary action movements, the School Youth Union continues to effectively carry out volunteer activities for the community with many creative models and methods to create an environment for union members, students to practice, contribute and mature. During the term, the School Youth Union organized more than 40 working sessions, cleaning the environment inside and outside the school with the participation of more than 900 union members; the campaigns: Green Summer, Summer Youth Volunteers attracted hundreds of union members to participate, implementing many meaningful projects and tasks at the grassroots level such as: building power lines, mural roads, drawing historical paintings, giving gifts... The "Voluntary Blood Donation" program also attracted a large number of union members and youth to participate. During the term, union members and youth in the School donated 242 units of blood, contributing to the treatment of patients.
During the term, 41 scientific research topics of the union members were carried out, including 28 topics of student union members and 13 topics of young lecturers. The school’s union introduced 83 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admission, including 81 union members who were students…
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing directions, tasks and solutions to effectively implement the work of the Youth Union and youth movement for the 2024-2027 term with some key contents: Strengthening political education activities, traditions, ethics, lifestyle, law-abiding awareness, and civic awareness among union members and youth; educating union members and youth to deeply understand the traditions and history of the country, the nation, the Party, and the Union organization; awareness of studying and scientific research; continuing to arouse and strongly promote the pioneering and volunteering role among union members and youth...
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the School Youth Union, term VII, 2024 - 2027, consisting of 13 members; and approved the resolutions of the Congress.
