Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is a public university, fully financially autonomous and does not receive state budget and funding. The university is allowed to determine its own tuition fees based on economic and technical norms issued annually based on the University Council's policies, to ensure that the university has enough resources to implement the training program, ensuring quality according to the announced output standards.

The school representative said: "However, that does not mean that the school will apply high tuition fees for all majors and study programs. On the contrary, the school's tuition fees are lower than the tuition fees prescribed in the regulations issued by the Government."

TDTU's tuition fees are currently considered appropriate so that students from all walks of life can access the quality of education of a university with modern facilities, high-quality teaching staff, and access to the curriculum, teaching methods and training programs of major universities in the world.

In order to encourage the spirit of learning and nurture talents, TDTU has spent more than 35 billion VND on scholarships for new students of the 2024 enrollment period with a variety of scholarships, such as: Entrance valedictorian scholarships; Scholarships for new students who are students from provinces/schools that have signed cooperation agreements with TDTU; Scholarships for new students who are excellent students of specialized/key high schools; Scholarships for university programs in English; Scholarships for international training joint programs.

In addition, TDTU also offers the following types of scholarships: Scholarships for majors with attractive policies; Scholarships for students who are the first generation in their family to attend university; Scholarships to encourage new students with high English proficiency; Scholarships for siblings studying at the school; Scholarships for children and siblings of union officials; TDTU Scholarship - Supporting Students; Scholarships to encourage female students studying engineering; Scholarships for new students studying at the Branch and other types of scholarships suitable for each subject.
