Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) plans to consider high school transcripts from April 1 for students from cooperating schools, while students from other schools will submit applications from May 20.
Ton Duc Thang University said on February 15 that it plans to enroll about 6,500 students in 2024, down 130 from last year. The school will announce more details later.
The school still uses 5 admission methods, including: Considering academic records; considering high school graduation exam scores; priority admission according to school regulations; considering the capacity assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University and direct admission, priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
With the method of considering high school transcripts, candidates from schools that cooperate with Ton Duc Thang University use the results of 5 semesters (except semester II of grade 12), the application submission time is from April 1. Students from the remaining schools must use the results of all 6 semesters, registering for admission from May 20.

According to school regulations, there are 2 groups that are considered for direct admission: Candidates with a letter of recommendation from the principal of the high school with which they have signed a cooperation agreement and students of the Vietnam - Finland International School.
Candidates with IELTS certificates; graduated from high school abroad, studied international programs at international schools in Vietnam; have SAT, A-Level, IB, ACT certificates are given priority for admission to university programs in English and international training cooperation.
Regarding the graduation exam score and capacity assessment test score methods of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the school will announce the remaining methods specifically later.

With a 40-point scale, the benchmark score in 2023 based on the high school graduation exam results of Ton Duc Thang University ranges from 22-34.6, the highest being the International Business major.
In the method of considering academic records, the benchmark score ranges from 26-37.5/40 points for three subjects, in which one subject is multiplied by a factor of two, plus priority points, academic achievement points, rounded to two decimal places. The three majors with the highest benchmark scores are International Business (37.5), Software Engineering and Computer Science (37.25).
