The assets seized by BIDV include land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land at part of the house number 606/706 National Highway 13, KP4, Hiep Binh Phuoc, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the asset owned by Ms. Le Thi Chinh, used as collateral for Todimax's loan at BIDV Binh Chanh Branch.

The second property seized was the land use rights, house ownership rights and other properties attached to the land at 41, 1107 Pham The Hien Street (now 41 Duong Bach Mai Street), Ward 5, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. This property belongs to Ms. Vu Thi Hong, and is used as collateral for Todimax's loan at BIDV Binh Chanh Branch.

Todimax used to be a 100% state-owned enterprise, established in 1958. In October 2022, the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) divested 84.31% of its charter capital and earned VND 276 billion.

This company owns a chain of real estate properties in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Todimax also owns a series of electronics stores of the same name in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces. The current Chairman of the Board of Directors is Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc, who holds about 99% of the shares.

According to Todimax's report at the 2023 General Meeting of Shareholders, in 2022 the company only achieved VND 595 million in profit after tax, while the plan for the whole year was VND 1.5 billion. The rate of profit after tax on charter capital is 0.81%.

The company only plans to have 2023 revenue of 31 billion VND and after-tax profit of 761 million VND.

Besides supermarkets and electronics stores, another business activity is property leasing. Todimax has many warehouses in Duc Giang, Long Bien, Hanoi and a system of offices for rent of more than 10,000 square meters.

BIDV Binh Chanh has also just announced the seizure of a series of real estate collateral assets of its customer, Kim Tao Industrial Development JSC.

Accordingly, the seized collateral assets include 7 assets, including: 4 land use rights, house ownership rights and assets attached to land in An Thuy commune, Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province; 1 land use right, house ownership rights and assets attached to land in Binh My commune, Bac Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province; 1 land use right, house ownership rights and assets attached to land in Long Nguyen commune, Bau Bang district, Binh Duong province; 1 land use right, house ownership rights and assets attached to land in Cay Truong II commune, Bau Bang district, Binh Duong province.

The owners of the above assets are Mr. Tran Minh Tan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Huyen. The secured party is Kim Tao Industrial Development Joint Stock Company.

To ensure debt collection of Kim Tao Industrial Development JSC, BIDV also seized 1 land use right, house ownership right and property attached to the land at 383 National Highway 13, KP5, Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, which is the property of Mr. Le Dinh Duy.

It is known that Kim Tao Industrial Development Joint Stock Company was established in 2015, headquartered in Binh Duong. The company operates in the field of design and construction of steel structure works.
