Da Nang proposes to support 2 million VND for reformed prostitutes to learn a trade

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just submitted a document related to vocational training support policies for workers under social policies in the area, to the City People's Council for consideration and approval in the upcoming session.

Effective implementation of the policy will help beneficiaries learn a trade, find jobs, and have a source of income to stabilize their lives (Illustration photo).

According to the proposal, the city will support workers who are bad teenagers, lawbreakers, dropouts, and reformed prostitutes.

Vocational training will follow the list of training occupations with a maximum support level of 2 million VND/person/course.

For workers in households subject to relocation, clearance, land recovery... will be supported with vocational training up to 3 million VND/person/course.

The expected support budget for these subjects is guaranteed by the budget, with an average of 190 million VND/year.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, from 2016 to 2022, the city has effectively implemented the vocational training support policy for the above subjects. As a result, the locality has organized vocational training support for 147 workers, with a budget of 306 million VND supported by the city budget.

With the effective implementation of the above policy, Da Nang has helped subjects receive timely vocational training support, contributing to job creation and income to stabilize their lives.

This also contributes to completing the program's goals of creating jobs and ensuring social security in the city.
