DNO - On the morning of October 24, flight number VJ1972 operated by Vietjet Air brought 120 passengers, departing from Ahmedabad (India) and landed at Da Nang International Airport.

This is a new route connecting Da Nang with Ahmedabad (India), operated by Vietjet Air with a frequency of 2 round trips per week using Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats/flight. Accordingly, flights from Da Nang to Ahmedabad will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays every week. In the opposite direction, flights from Ahmedabad to Da Nang will depart on Thursdays and Sundays every week.

Da Nang tourism industry has been focusing resources to proactively promote the city's tourism image, promote the opening of flights from Da Nang to several cities in India; diversify products and services to form a tourism ecosystem to meet the needs and tastes of Indian tourists; improve service quality and service quality; ensure security for all destinations in Da Nang.

In 2024, Da Nang city also attracted 4 large weddings of Indian couples with more than 1,200 guests and 20 MICE tourist groups from India with about 3,000 guests.
Ahmedabad is known to be the largest city in the state of Gujarat and the 7th largest metropolitan area in India, with a population of about 5.1 million people. Vietjet Air's direct flight connection from Da Nang to Ahmedabad will facilitate and promote trade as well as the exchange of tourists between the two localities.
