On May 26, at the launching ceremony of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the City Youth Union - Student Association of Da Nang City established and launched a team of volunteer students who are international students in Vietnam studying at colleges and universities in Da Nang.
The 2024 "Green Summer" student volunteer campaign for lecturers and students will last from June to August.
The new feature of this year's "Green Summer" campaign is the establishment of a team of volunteer students studying abroad in Vietnam from countries such as Laos, China, Thailand, Nigeria... studying at colleges and universities in Da Nang.

At the launching ceremony, Da Nang City Youth Union presented projects with a total value of 4,450 billion VND.
Supporting Hoa Vang district in building new rural areas in the period of 2023-2025 (40 sets of tables and chairs, 40 computers, 60 scholarships, 200 sets of textbooks for primary and secondary schools) with a total value of 850 million VND; giving 2 houses to poor families in Hoa Vang with a total value of 100 million VND; the project of the Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful Riverside Road and painting 600m2 of murals worth 500 million VND; giving 2 sports facilities for 2 student dormitories in the East and West (basketball court, volleyball court, outdoor sports equipment) worth 3 billion VND...

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Youth Union awarded 10 "Solid Future" scholarships (each worth 5 million VND) to students with difficult circumstances who excel in their studies; awarded 7 scholarships to Co Tu ethnic students participating in the 2024 national high school graduation exam.
In this year's campaign, Da Nang expects to have more than 20,000 union members and young people participating in volunteer activities.
