NFT Technology Painting Contest with the theme "City Rising"

Competition prize structure

Responding to the spirit of Resolution 57/NQ-TW on digital transformation and application of digital transformation in the field of art, the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Communications and Electronics has announced the rules of the Digital Painting Contest applying NFT technology with a total prize value of up to 100 million VND.

“The competition is organized with the desire to create a creative space where art and technology intersect. Through the theme "City Rising", we expect the contestants to bring unique perspectives on a modern and unique Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, the Organizing Committee wishes to contribute to promoting the development of digital art and the application of NFT in intellectual property rights and opening up new lands for the art industry in Vietnam", Mr. Nguyen Manh Quy, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Communications - Electronics Association shared.

Individuals or groups of authors who are Vietnamese citizens with a passion for creating digital paintings can participate. Authors send their works as digital files (minimum 6000 x 9000 pixels) with personal information and an explanation of the idea via email: BTC@hcmba.vn.

The contest has the following prize structure: 1 First Prize: 30,000,000 VND, 2 Second Prizes: 15,000,000 VND each, 2 Third Prizes: 5,000,000 VND each and 5 Consolation Prizes: 2,000,000 VND each; and other prizes.

The time for receiving entries is from March 29 to June 20, 2025. The announcement of results and award ceremony is expected to be on August 9, 2025. The jury consists of leading experts in the fields of fine arts and technology.
