In 2024, the Propaganda sector will continue to affirm its role as a pioneer in political and ideological work, contributing to the construction and development of the province in many fields. This is a period that requires the sector not only to closely follow the Party's orientation, but also to innovate and create to meet the increasingly high requirements in the new situation.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, in 2024, the Propaganda sector has proactively innovated and advised Party committees at all levels to strengthen leadership and effectively direct the implementation of Party building work in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields, achieving outstanding results. The organization of research, study, dissemination, propaganda and implementation of Party resolutions and directives have been carried out promptly, effectively and with quality. The whole sector has widely and effectively deployed political and ideological activities, researched and studied the content of articles and works of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the Central Committee's viewpoints and guiding thoughts on waste prevention and combat; digital transformation; streamlining the apparatus in the political system, etc.

Political education work, grasping and orienting the thoughts and moods of cadres, party members, and public opinion; fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; preventing and handling bad and toxic information, especially on cyberspace, has many innovations, in a more timely and effective manner. As the Standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee 35-16, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department regularly follows the direction of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, advises the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee 35-16 to comprehensively lead and direct the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, preventing and combating the plot of "peaceful evolution" activities, fighting against and refuting the erroneous viewpoints of hostile forces. At the same time, direct local units to monitor the situation and public opinion, fight against erroneous information of hostile and reactionary forces on the internet, and handle subjects posting false information on social networks, contributing to stabilizing the political security situation in the locality.

At the same time, the provincial Propaganda Department has effectively organized the study and follow of Uncle Ho. All levels, sectors, localities and units in the province have linked the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. Thereby, many examples of good people, good deeds, good practices, and effective models have emerged, creating a widespread effect such as: Environmental protection, self-defense, self-management of security and order; Compassionate women, the elderly, clean seafood processing, traffic safety propaganda; Green savings; Study corner for children... Along with that, implementing Regulation No. 137 of the Central Party Secretariat, arranging the organization and apparatus of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and continuing to implement Resolution No. 18 of the Central Committee (term XII) "Some issues on continuing to innovate and arrange the organization and apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently", taking steps to merge the two Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department...

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department donated 50 million VND to support the construction of gratitude houses in Phan Thiet City.

Do a good job of ideological work when arranging the apparatus.

According to the forecast of the provincial Propaganda Department, 2025 is the year of holding party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, and at the same time, it is also the year of implementing many new policies and guidelines of the Party and State, especially the task of accelerating and breaking through to complete the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress; arranging and streamlining the organization and apparatus of the political system, operating effectively, efficiently and effectively... Although there are many opportunities and advantages, we still have to face many difficulties and challenges. Hostile, reactionary and political opportunistic forces continue to fiercely oppose the Party and State... That situation will affect the ideology and mood of cadres, party members, people of all walks of life and the implementation of propaganda tasks. Therefore, comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, suggested that the entire sector should continue to advise the Party Committee to lead and direct tasks related to the Party Congresses at all levels (term 2025 - 2030) towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Continue to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with building and rectifying the Party and the political system; strictly implement Regulation No. 144 of the Politburo (term XIII), Conclusion No. 89 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 35 of the Politburo (term XII); continue to apply digital transformation in grasping the ideological situation and social mood...

In the fields of propaganda, continue to orient propaganda work, press - publishing, foreign information; the Central's viewpoints and guiding thoughts on socio-economic development; on party congresses at all levels; on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus; propagate the achievements of the province and locality in economic, cultural, social development, national defense, security, foreign affairs, building a clean and strong Party and political system; the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity, creating motivation and determination to successfully implement the political goals and tasks of the province and locality in 2025...
