On the morning of December 7, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen - Standing Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Provincial National Assembly Delegate had a meeting with voters after the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly in Thanh Hai ward and Phu Hai ward (Phan Thiet city).
Also attending the meeting with voters were representatives of leaders of departments and branches; leaders of Phan Thiet City People's Committee and localities.
At the meeting, voters watched a video clip of the results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, after nearly 23 working days, the National Assembly decided on many important contents on the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2023, and the expected socio-economic development plan in 2024. In addition, at this session, the National Assembly passed 7 Laws and 9 Resolutions; gave opinions on 8 other draft Laws and resolved many other important contents.
At the session, the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province had more than 27 opinions, including 15 opinions discussed in the Group, 8 opinions presented in the hall and 4 opinions questioned. Many opinions and recommendations of voters as well as some urgent issues of the province were acknowledged by the National Assembly, the Government and ministries and branches.
After listening to Delegate Pham Thi Hong Yen's responses to voters' petitions at previous meetings, voters highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly as well as the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province at the 6th session. Along with that, voters recommended that provincial government leaders resolve outstanding issues to invest in upgrading Thanh Hai Primary School, which has seriously degraded, to ensure the teaching and learning needs of teachers and students. In addition, voters recommended upgrading and repairing Thanh Hai market to meet the buying and selling needs of the people. In addition, voters requested that local authorities resolve land and housing procedures for the people.
The opinions and recommendations of voters of Thanh Hai and Phu Hai wards were received and recorded by National Assembly deputies Nguyen Huu Thong and Pham Thi Hong Yen, and reviewed and responded to by relevant agencies according to their authority.
