Spectacular handshake between T&T Group and CAND Sports Association in table tennis

The signing ceremony was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Chairman of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association and Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman of the Strategy Committee of T&T Group.

Accordingly, the cooperation between the two sides aims to support and develop the CAND table tennis in particular and Vietnamese table tennis in general in a professional direction, achieving high results. This activity will contribute to affirming the prestige and position, bringing the achievements of CAND table tennis to the highest level in national tournaments, contributing the number of athletes and achievements to the national team in international tournaments. During the signing ceremony, the two sides determined to train and improve the quality of table tennis athletes to approach international level, promote the image of professional table tennis athletes to attract young talents to participate in training and competition.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group and Mr. Tran Duc Phan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association signed the memorandum of understanding.

In addition to the above objectives, the signing ceremony also agreed that coaches and athletes of the Hanoi T&T Table Tennis Club will be arranged accommodation and training at the CAND Sports Training and Competition Center. Exchanges between coaches and athletes of the Hanoi T&T Table Tennis Club will be conducted. The selected outstanding athletes and coaches will represent the CAND – T&T Table Tennis Team to participate in domestic and international competitions, in accordance with the regulations of the tournament.

Sharing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Do Quang Hien was delighted that in the past time, Hanoi Football Club has cooperated and contributed to the achievements of the CAND Football Club. This cooperation will help the table tennis coaches and athletes have the conditions to promote their abilities, strengths, and potential to contribute to the high-performance sports of the CAND in particular and Vietnamese sports in general.

Meanwhile, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang also highly appreciated Mr. Do Quang Hien and T&T Group for always accompanying the sports activities of the People's Public Security Forces in the past time. To ensure the effectiveness of coordination, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang suggested that, based on the signed memorandum of understanding, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association and T&T Group should study and specify the cooperation activities of the two sides, organize and implement them effectively, in accordance with the law and regulations of the public security sector.

At the same time, the two sides need to strengthen and promote information and propaganda work, contributing to spreading and promoting the sports movement throughout society, thereby selecting and training quality athletes, contributing to achieving high achievements for the country's sports.

“I believe that the cooperation between the two sides will bring many good results, and hope that we will continue to work together to contribute to the development of Vietnamese sports in general, and the sports movement of the Public Security Forces and T&T Group in particular,” Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang added.

After the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding, the CAND - T&T table tennis team officially held a departure ceremony to prepare for the 2024 national table tennis championship which will take place in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) from May 31 to June 7. The CAND - T&T table tennis team aims to win 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal to strive for 3rd place overall.

The team's goal is to finish third overall.
